We created Tweepi out of our own need for some of these scripts. We’re constantly looking to follow quality tweeples, and trying to unfollow deadbeat users. We simply want to do more on Twitter in less time!

Twubble – Twubble can help expand your Twitter bubble—it searches your friend graph and picks out people who you may like to follow.

Great article in Saturday’s Telegraph Weekend Section by Lucy Atkins on the Twitter Craze, twitter has really gone main stream in the UK thanks to Stephen Fry’s eloquent posts and the Jonathan Ross effect.

Lucy who writes for The Guardian, Telegraph & Times is new to Twitter but has really got to grips with the microblogging platform and explains it very well including comment on the Celeb Twitterati, Twitter Lexicon (Twitter specific words & slang) and some tips including hashtags#, DM’s, Links (Url shorteners) and blog/website widgets.

Tweepler is a much needed and more intuitive way of processing your Twitter Followers.

Quite a variety of different clients are available with different attributes and specific features, I have tried a few including Twitterific, Twitterlicious, Tweetie, Twhirl and TweetDeck.

• Twhirl – small desktop application for Windows PC’s and Mac’s using Adobe Air platform, you can resize as a sidebar and get on with some work whilst keeping an eye on Tweets, has shorten Url, lookup and search functions as well as the usual @reply, directmessage (DM’s) and favourite buttons.  Very stable and highlights replies and DM’s in a different background colour.  Can connect to multiple Twitter and FriendFeed accounts.  Link to Twhirl website 
• TweetDeck – a more sophisticated desktop client for established power Twitter user’s again running on Windows PC’s and Mac’s using the Adobe Air platform.  Includes a larger few of all your Tweets, Replies and DM’s.  Good array of buttons for favourites, twittScoop, TwitPic, shorten Url (with a great choice of URL shortening systems including, tinyurl, bitly, budURL, eweri, hex.io, idek.net, is.gd, lin.cr, POPrl, snipurl, twurl, urlBorg and zi.ma).  Link to TweetDeck download
